Rhiannon
by Fleetwood Mac

Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night
And wouldn't you love to love her?
She rules her life like a bird in flight
And who will be her lover?

All your life you've never seen
A woman, taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven?
Will you ever win...?

Rhiannon...
Rhiannon...
Rhiannon...

She is like a cat in the dark
And then she is the darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark
And when the sky is starless

All your life you've never seen
A woman, taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised to you heaven?
Will you ever win...?
Will you ever win...?

Dreams unwind
Love's a state of mind

I love that song, should I ever birth a daughter it shall be a hard bit of work for me not to name her, "Rhiannon". lol

And for me as well. You realize that if one of us were to fall into that lyrical trap, everyone would think her black upon reading her name. That in itself could be amusing, I think.

That would be very amusing, an interesting commentary on affirmative action (should it still exist at that point). That's it whichever of us births a daughter first needs to name her "Rhiannon."
