Waiting is one of the most horrible things in the world, I've decided. Worse than Chinese water torture, family get-togethers, or eating live snapping turtles.

Doesn't it suck when you're stupid, and you don't realize it until it's too late?

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe. -Einstein

Oh, joy! It may be fleeting... We'll see how it turns out in a bit. But for the moment... Oh, joy! :)

I am going up north for a couple of days. I hate to leave home, especially now.

But I will try to enjoy Christmas as best I can.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, right?

Tuesday, December 23, 2003

And lo, there came upon Diana ghosts of Christmases past that turned out to be just as bittersweet as Scrooge's, if not more so.

Friday, December 19, 2003

And lo, there came upon Diana a strange and wonderful coincidence. She made her archives work!!

Of course, she also cleaned up a few errors in the process. One day, she will be the most powerful Blogmaster in the GALAXY! Muahahahahahahahaha...*

*Above claims do not necessarily reflect the intentions or opinions of anyone associated with Diana or Blogger, and therefore may never be used as a tool of mockery or belittlement should they not come to pass.

From now on I will be inserting hidden messages, because I know that I can. Sheer brilliance it is. Comes of being the Blogmaster of Blogmasters.
Another little aside. The Gospel of John actually isn't a bad movie. And it stars Henry Ian Cusick, who looks remarkably familiar to me. Plus, Christopher Plummer is the narrator, and there were a lot of other Canadians involved in its production. Hence, I command thee(s) to watch it!

I can't wait to eat lunch tomorrow! Oh glorious lunch!

Here's a little something new...

The Career Poll

"The world is indeed my oyster. It's just that its insides are slimey and disgusting, and very infrequently do I find a pearl."

That's the Diana thought for the day. Aren't you glad, masses, that I take the time to fill you in on my little brushes with wisdom and intelligence?

I know you are, but what am I? :P

I'm sure this is suicide for my ego, but a question that I was just pondering...

What's wrong with me, aside from the obvious?

Be brutal, be cruel, just don't "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" yourself! *Bzzz* (Sorry... Please leave that out of your assessments?)

Just a couple of asides...

1) Typing in a colour is much more satisfying than typing in black. For instance, green. It's wonderful! Try it.

2) About a Boy is a really, really, really cute movie. Of course, they don't make movies that have Hugh Grant in them and aren't really, really, really cute. Like Love Actually. Brilliantly done, stunning English actors! I applaud you heartily and without reserve!

Below is a list of telephone numbers. If you live in one of these calling areas, I strongly urge you to call one of them. If you don't, but you feel like making a short and entertaining, normally billed-for long-distance call, I urge you even more strongly. So go ahead, take a chance! ;)

By the way, I got my hair cut today. I love Andy. I do. It's a pity that I can't keep him in my home, to style my hair every day.

If only every woman could have a straight British man to do that for her... The world would be a better place, I can tell you.

I think they might even stop wailing about equal rights. ;)

...Do you think I'm maybe a little right-wing? :D

Well now, something interesting. I hereby refer you to another online journal. You may hurt yourself while trying to comprehend the content of said journal, but you will probably, like me, find it fascinating at the same time. social aversion.

And may I just interject, hopefully to the supreme annoyance of the journal owner because it is included in the same post as his marvelous journal (though he will probably never see this) that everyone should be a fan of B44, because they are absolutely adorable. And also very moral young Jewish men. Quite wonderful. See B44 Official Site (German) for more exquisite and pictoral details.

Why me? WHY ME?? Would they QUIT with the DARTS already?!?!

Well, I'm back in the 'Shwa! (Sick, isn't it?)

I'm starving. That's what comes of not eating, I guess. And not eating comes of being lazy, I guess. :)

So, they got Saddam. Wow.

I loved photography class in Grade 11. It was wonderful. I miss it. Except for the tedium of developing film. Luckily, Nikki was there to help me! I miss Nikki...

I am attempting to put only one space after every sentence, instead of two. Somehow I got it into my head that when typing, one should use two. Probably came from the typewriter era (of which I wasn't really a part, so...). In any case, I must break myself of the habit. It's unnecessary. However, it is rather difficult to break typing habits. From all the time I have spent typing in the past years, they've become rather ingrained, really. *sigh* But I shall make a valiant effort!

On a rather bitter note, I despise mankind. (See that, Felisa?? I even used it the way you would. Happy? Although you know I don't mean it and that I completely disagree with you. Hence, I shall now make my position clear...)

And so the quarter ends, and I am left to find some way of spending $177.50 on food. It's rather sad altogether.

Friday, December 05, 2003

Well, then! Yes, it is actually 3:22AM. That's what people like me do. Stay up late for no real reason. Although I do have a little bit of a reason this time. I have a long paper due tomorrow, and it's called "The Misuse of Christianity and Colonialism in South Africa." It's rather horrible, actually. I despise it with all that is within me. I AM going to start publishing my essays online. Maybe someday someone will use it for their own research paper. That would be funny. HAHAHAHAHA :D That's the beauty of the internet. Crazies like me can publish anything online as fact. Teehee. Suckers.

I drank an energy drink tonight. It was bad. I mean, it tasted like carbonated vitamins, and it made me incredibly, shakily hyper. Never again, I say, NEVER AGAIN! Although it really did help me think straight enough to conceive the notion of changing the font on my paper so that it made it the required length, instead of babbling on longer about nothing.

Well, I'm going to fix my paper that Felisa just incredibly meanly proofread for me. It will take me hours, I'm sure. :P
